

Need: A nationally recognized homebuilder seeking a unique gift for purchasing a new home.
Solution: 1to1 Card developed a prepaid card program for all new homebuyers. The program included the client’s logo on the card, client’s logo on the carrier with special message to customers as well as the homebuyer’s name embossed on the card for a personalized touch.
How it Worked: The homebuilder issued a $50 prepaid card to all new homebuyers. After closing, a representative would hand deliver the gift to the homebuyers letting them know that their business was appreciated. The card carrier gave some ideas on what the card may be used for; new broom, garden hose, cleaning supplies, or lunch for the friends who helped move the sofa. Our client wanted to cover the cost for one of these many expenses new homeowners experience.
Result: The prepaid card was the perfect option for the client because it allowed the homebuyers the flexibility to purchase something anywhere Visa® debit is accepted. The presentation of the prepaid card also gave the client another touch point with the new homebuyer which helped build credibility.
